I might be under their protection, but I’m also at their mercy. Someone who makes the evil I know feel less dangerous than the evil I don’t.īut being their Lady is more than just fancy clothes and reputation. There’s someone far more dangerous out there who’s been stalking me since I left town the first time. Killian, Rath, and Tristian aren’t the only ones who want me. What could bring me back into their lives, their homes, and ultimately, their beds? But I’m still on the run and there’s another monster chasing me down. They’re more powerful than ever now, having risen to the rank of Lords at Forsyth University. Three years later I’m standing on their doorstep like a stray. While they laughed.īut what happened that night wasn’t my biggest secret. The night everything fell apart, my stepbrother allowed his two best friends to take their rage out on me while he watched. In high school, they knew my secrets and I knew theirs. ![]() Maybe it’s because we get more of him in Part Two then we do in Part One…maybe it’s because of everything that’s happening, he’s kind of turning into the accidental hero if you will, but everything he’s saying and doing is just wonderful and I can’t get enough of it. Silas Nash…wow…yeah, I am totally 100% in love with him now…and once again, I still don’t even know that much about him. I don’t know what kind of witchcraft or jedi mind tricks they have cast upon me…but it’s totally and completely working and I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself after the third book. If I thought I enjoyed Never Never Part One… Never Never Part Two up’d the ante… a lot. I’ll split my time evenly between the two…but I’m almost positive I cannot live without the influence of their brilliance in my world. It’s official…I now need to move into both Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher’s brains. ![]() ![]() He then returns from the successful campaign to be murdered by furious wife Klytemnestra, who in turn is done in by vengeful son Orestes, who’s hounded for his crime until his life is imperiled.Īs it sadly happens, the Oresteia is the only three-pronged Greek canon work to survive intact through the intervening years. Then there’s the hands-down cake-taker: the three linked plays often referred to as The House of Atreus and just as often as Oresteia. To name two glaring dysfunctional-family examples: Sophocles’ Oedipus Rex and Euripides’ Medea.
